Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is pushing its project to hire female bus drivers. They have cited other major cities like New York and Beijing for having lady bus drivers and planning to emulate it in hope to minimize bus-related accidents in Metro Manila. MMDA will provide free training and work referral to qualified candidates. Applications can be sent to jobs@mmda.gov.ph.
