3 members of West African drug syndicate arrested due to drug trafficking and using overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) as couriers of drugs to other countries. It was said that this syndicate is offering to a courier around USD 1,000 for bringing drugs to a particular destination (country). Drug trafficking in some countries is punishable by death.
